Artist Statement:
My work draws a line between relationships. Most of my work pertains to the way I remember experiences, sometime ones that are questionable even occurred. My work in its physical form deals with the false realities that we create to cope with experiences sometimes masked, layered, stitched, or intangible. Light hearted or surreal my work touches base with moments or places I wish I could have experienced. The installations are makeshift in nature and sometimes have a haphazard feel, sometimes creating a sense of entering in the middle of something. The process is a relationship between me and the material, starting with an idea and working with it as it grows sometimes incorporating different medias to capture my thoughts as closely as I see them.
